Notes.
1. Some of the recordings above are quite old, and come from original vinyl recordings, such as 33, 45, and 78 rpm records. The audio quality is very reduced (compare to digital), and ‘artefacts’ can be heard, such as wow & flutter, hiss, surface noise, and sometimes turntable rumble. As far as possible, these have all been removed by me. I also remixed or remastered several of the recordings (normal for my podcasts) to improve audio quality or overall audio sound.
2. Bo Dodi , track 3, is an Israeli Folk Song and Dance, not a Balkan one. Baroiges Tanz is Israeli, as well.
3. A guide is available for the pronunciation of the words in the song Svatba:
.

4. Especially for the older songs, the names of the performing artists is sometimes not known and virtually impossible to learn. I have put the names of the recording artists in the tags, as usual. As more information becomes available, it will appear there as well.
5. The best available recording of each song or dance was used in this show.
